governor romney talked about creating 4 million jobs by embracing an energy independence for north america. i have the ceo of the largest pipeline builder on my other show "mad money" last night. he said 4 million is reasonable, but the federal government is not being helpful. i know you favor all sort of energy, solar, fantastic. what do you say about the 4 million? >> actually, a say that we need to create more jobs across the board and particularly, highly skilled people to work in the refinery and production areas where we're finding more energy and we have to have a balance, so i'm totally for that. i encourage more a perennisship programs and training in that area. we have a high need for welders and people working in refineries and i'm all for paying for those jobs and looking at other alternative forms of energy and we have to have a balance of both. >> the unemployment rate falling below 8% for the first time since january 2009 and i'm sure the labor department was hearing about that this morning. at the same time, can you tell the american people that this 7.8 number marks the tu

in pennsylvania, new york state. little closer to the center of the energy with this thing. becomes a bit more scattered when you get farther south. this will come through this afternoon. then a big flip in the weather. first half of the weekend looks fine. let's take a look at the current situation outside. clear skies. 62 at the airport. inner harbor 66. that southwest breeze at 6 is bringing in some nice mild air right now. humidity not too terribly high. barometer falling with that front approaching. 29.88. we look at a few of the temperatures. east 64. 66 ocean city. chestertown 64. parkton 59, westminster 61. down to 54 frederick. in the 50s in far western maryland. temperatures aren't very extreme right now. part of the reason why the lower part of this storm coming in isn't too wet is we don't have a lot of moisture from the gulf feeding into it so it is working with moisture that's already in the atmosphere around our region. we're fairly dry this side of the mountain. vein not going to be the big issue today. going to be the wind and the cold air coming in behind that. look at the co
